Welcome! Archive Iberville serve as a central collection point for preserving the photographs, stories, and memories that have shaped the history of Iberville Parish.

Through this platform residents and community members can easily contribute images, videos, personal narratives, and other materials that help document Iberville’s rich heritage — past and present. Use the form below to start sharing your media to the archives, submitting as many items as you would like.

In addition to ongoing submissions, we also host special initiatives periodically, focusing on specific time periods, events, locations, or themes important to the parish’s history. We invite you to explore our current initiative(s) below and help preserve, expand, and share the story of Iberville for future generations.

Current Initiatives

ACTIVE: June - October, 2026

The Iberville Museum

The Iberville Museum is undergoing a full renovation of its exhibits. The project is a unique opportunity to include materials from the community in the new exhibit. We hope to capture what everyday life in Iberville is like, showcasing community, family, and friends. We hope you’ll share some of your history with us—and with your community!

We are especially seeking photos, stories, and documents relating to:

  • Celebrations and traditions like the Gray Monkeys parade, family reunions, church festivals, block parties, and holidays
  • Food and cooking, including your family’s favorite recipes or special dishes, cook outs, or competitions
  • Everyday work and livelihoods
  • Music and dancing, at home parties, in dance halls, or performances
  • Multicultural events highlighting diversity in Iberville

How It Works

If I submit content to will it be used?

Materials submitted through Archive Iberville will become part of the parish archive. Items provided in high-resolution formats suitable for print may be considered for inclusion in current or future museum exhibits. Materials that meet digital quality standards may also be featured in museum social media content or other online highlights. We are not able to guarantee that all materials submitted will be displayed

What types of media can and cannot be submitted?

At this time, we are accepting:

  • Photographs:
    • Must be uploaded at the highest-resolution possible.
    • Acceptable formats include PNG, JPG, JPEG or WebP.
    • Must include information and caption (as much as possible) related to the image.
  • Videos
    • Must be shared at the highest-resolution possible.
    • Acceptable formats include MP4, WebM, MOV, or a direct link to watch on YouTube or Vimeo.
    • Must include information and caption (as much as possible) related to the image.
  • Written Memories or Narratives
    • May be submitted without any accompanying media files.
  • PDF Scans or Documents
    • May be used to share an image or story in a scannable or pre-prepared file format. 

We are not currently accepting physical artifacts or materials, though future initiatives may expand submission opportunities.

What are the submission requirements?

To make a submission, you will be required to:

  • Provide your first and last name
  • Provide a valid email or phone number – which will allow us to contact you if we have questions or would like more information about your submission.
  • Agree to allow the parish (and its entities) full usage of the submission and permission to modify photos and/or videos in any way they see fit for publication.

How does the submission process work?

The submission process involves two (2) steps. 

Step #1:
Complete the form at the bottom of this page, this is the "submitter info" – this tells us about the who is sharing and how to get in touch if we have question or would like to learn more. You will also be asked to agree to the usage and modification terms of submitting content to Archive Iberville. Click "continue" to proceed to the next portion of the form. 

Step #2:
The second part of the form will contain fields related to the media and/or story you are sharing. The form allows for one (1) upload at a time. But there are no limits on how many items you may share.  Closing the webpage will end your current session. If you wish to share more items, you will need to complete Step #1 again. 

Please note items cannot be modified once they have been submitted. Be sure to review each submission for accuracy and confirm you are satisfied with the information that has been input before clicking the "share" button.
